Austria has permitted the use of Trojan Horse malware as a tool and tactic that can be legally used for monitoring PCs of suspected terrorists and criminals. With that, Austria has become one of the first countries in the whole world to officially sanction the use of such Trojan horse malwares.

It has to be noted that the measures of using trojan horse malwares as spy tool were discussed in an Austrian cabinet meeting last week and then it was turned to a group of legal and technical experts to thrash out the details of the scheme.
