Non-Contact Microarrayer here to replace Pen Spotting

By Susan — [ ] Reported at 5:35 pm, 09/01/2007.

New non-contact technology replaces the pen spotting methodology typically used for microarray printing. First Phase Technologies a Tempe, Arizona based electronic contract manufacturer announces the unveiling of a new non-contact microarrayer.

Utilizing this new printing technology platform, this value added service will cut out much of the unnecessary manufacturing steps allowing the researcher to focus on his or her specific assay application or diagnostic function.

The new non-contact microarrayer is a benefit to researchers powered with the 100% inline droplet inspection with a flexible droplet / spot size (60pl to 10nl) which can provide pre-synthesized chemical deposition for a wide range of chemicals such as oligos, cDNA, Proteins, Peptides.
