Nikon has recently launched the advanced version of the 10-megapixel Coolpix P5000, the Nikon Coolpix P5100 digital camera into the digital camera marketplace.

Nikon Coolpix P5100 is an advanced 12-megapixel version of the Nikon coolpix P5000. Its loaded with Coolpix P5000's core design, along with the 35 to 123mm-equivalent f/2.7-5.3 image-stabilized lens, and having a power combination of optical viewfinder and 2.5-inch TFT LCD screen.

There is a new image processor in the new camrea that will hopefully perk up the P5100's performance over the P5000's sluggish numbers.
