Trojan.Downloader.Small.BIB attack computers using javascript
A few days back, the BitDefender Labs had released a severe warning that an attacker was found to be adding some more instructions seeking to download an executable fild to a bit of previously innocuous Java Script which handles font resizing. I believe that this can pose a serious threat exclusively to the online social network platforms such as myspace and other platforms.
The malicious Java Script has been found to makes the browser of the user to download and execute a Trojan virus that has been detected and reported by the BitDefender as Trojan.Downloader.Small.BIB . Now this trojan is hosted on a Chinese website, which is probably also compromised and the owner of the web site may not be knowing about this till date.
It has been informed that the BitDefender antivirus has been updated so that it can detect all the malware involved and remove them from the user's system.
