Briz.X trojan active and spreading - steals details of 14,000 users
PandaLabs has detected a new variant of the Briz trojan, which is called as Briz.X. Briz.X is said to have already infected almost 14,000 users, while Briz.X is stealing all types of information, such as bank and personal details, all types of personal secure passwords and even instant messaging conversations.
Given the huge volume of data Briz.X is capable of stealing and sending to the attacker, the author of this trojan has included a parser module making Briz.X a more killer trojan and a more serious threat to all computers that have become affected by Briz.X.
Briz.X trojan is here to allow cyber-criminals to gain remote access to the infected computers. With this, these criminals can use the Briz.X infected computers as a proxy computer to carry out illegal activities, such as transferring the stolen information or money.
