Bill for mercury-free vaccines for children
Tim Solobay has introduced a bill that would ban the administration of vaccines that contain mercury to pregnant women or to children below the age of age 3 years.
A committee has recently concluded that it does not appear there is a connection between the childhood measles-mumps-rubella vaccine and autism. In contrast to this, the committee did also acknowledge that it could not rule out the possibility that the MMR vaccine could contribute to autistic spectrum disorders in a small number of children and that more research is needed.
