F-secure named it as "Storm Worm". It spread primarily throughout europe, targeting hundreds of thousands of computers throughout europe through a series of trojan-loaded email.

Storm worm has spread massively throughout europe. The most important thing about storm worm is the fact that this trojan was spread through a series of email attacks. Each version of the worm that was spread through spearate email attacks had in inherent engine to update itself with new worm codes that were not tracable my most of the anti-virus tools.

Storm worm seems to reflect the new kind of advanced trojan attack strategies that the bad guys seem to adapt for the trojan attacks of the new age.
