By Susan — [ ] Reported at 12:33 am, 01/19/2007.

Among all kinds of kidney stones, calcium oxalate kidney stones are one of the most common forms of kidney stones. Calcium oxalate renal calculi may take birth inside our kidneys due to conditions not limited to hypercalciuria, hyperoxaluria, hypocitrauria or hyperuricosuria.

Calcium oxalate crystals get separated from urine and get sedimented on the inner surface of kidneys.

In most cases, calcium is found to create sediments inside kidneys with either oxalate or phosphate ion.
