NASA attempts to free up the ISS’s solar panel
Ground controllers at NASA worked on freeing a jammed solar panel on the International Space Station on Friday, at the same time the astronauts prepared for a final spacewalk to rewire the outpost's power grid.
The first attempt to fold the panel on Wednesday was called off after more than six hours of work.
Scientists at NASA space laboratory finally directed that the space shuttle Discovery crew should be ordered to prepare for its prime task of rewiring the station's electrical system which has become a top priority.
